10g Drip Bag Gayo Mountain
Elegant flavor and mellowness without any peculiarities.
Coffee cultivation in Indonesia began in 1696 when the Dutch brought seedlings from Malabar, India. Coffee was also introduced to the Gayo highlands and continued to be cultivated there, but because of the strict and exclusive Islamic precepts, it was an unexplored region that tourists and even local residents could not easily enter. It has long been known that the coffee produced there is of extremely high quality. However, because of the exclusive nature of the land and the low production, and the fact that only human labor was available to transport the coffee, for a long time it was mixed in with Mandarin and never saw the light of day. However, in 1984, the Indonesian government launched a plan to develop the Aceh region into an international tourist destination as a means of obtaining foreign currency to replace oil. Coffee is now attracting attention as an important pillar of tourism.
Coffee is grown in an optimal environment for coffee production. Its flavor and aroma are well-balanced, and it is no less than the best coffee from the Caribbean. It has been passed down to the present day as a treasured coffee.
